Our Mono Epoxy Primer is a one of a kind single component oxygen-cured epoxy primer that is without peer in the marketplace. It has quickly become a favorite of both the professional pool refinisher and swimming pool paint do-it-yourselfer because it eliminates the difficulty and hassle of mixing multiple components together, induction time and limited pot life associated with traditional two-component epoxy products. It is quicker and easier to use and provides a durable base coat in preparation for virtually any swimming pool paint or fish pond paint project. It provides a sound base and seals out air and moisture.

As with traditional catalyst-cured epoxy primer Mono Epoxy Primer is an effective barrier to pool chemicals, saltwater and vapors on virtually any surface. It achieves a highly durable high-build protective epoxy base coat that quickly self levels to a rock hard finish. The cured epoxy-ester film provides excellent protection from the damaging effects of harsh water, weather, chemicals, impacts and abrasions without blistering or lifting.  

Over coat within 48 hours or sand between coats. Dry to the touch in 2-3 hours. Recommended wet film thickness is 4-5 mils per coat. Pot life: Not applicable. Available in quart, gallon and five gallon containers. Thin with TS-605 Thinner  or TS-101 Thinner.
