Mural-Mate (LG-740) has been conceived and formulated as a stand-alone artist’s mural paint specifically formulated for use in constant submersion duty in swimming pools, ponds, fountains and water features. Since it is available in quarts it is widely used on smaller projects. Widely used to create murals, logos and underwater graphics in a wide variety of stunning colors without fading or loss of gloss. Used by the Walt Disney World maintenance department on the submerged robotic figures in the Finding Nemo attraction. A unique resin blend producing unequaled adhesion, hardness, UV resistance, color and gloss retention. Brushes and levels nicely. Self priming on all Lifeguard paints. Economical to use because it spreads two times further than acrylic and lasts years longer. Stores readily for multiple re-uses. 7 year warranty.

Acceptable for use on most any surface. Best when applied over primer or paint. Produces a barrier that prevents seepage of water, resists chalking, chipping and peeling, alkali (from concrete or plaster), growth of algae and molds and minimizes collection of iron and dirt. May be brushed, rolled or sprayed, cleans up easily. Brush: recommend natural bristle brushes. Roller: For smooth surfaces use 3/8” non shedding roller cover; higher nap cover for textured surfaces. Spray: Recommend small-medium size tip. Covers 400 square feet per gallon on smooth surfaces. Dry to the touch in 2-4 hours. May be color sanded and buffed. Recommendations: Apply two or more coats to achieve a minimum DFT of 4 mils. Test porous surfaces for hydrostatic pressure utilizing VaporGuage Test Kit. See Application Instructions for further details. Use LG-104 Seal-It! Deep Penetrating Sealer where there is more than 4 LBS hydrostatic pressure.

Cleaner: Recommend LG-695 Etching Cleaner for concrete, tile, all metals and masonry.

Primer: Porous surfaces use LG-715 Chloro-Prime. Non-porous surfaces use LG-664 Etching Primer.

Thinner: See LG-605 Thinner do not substitute.

Slip Resistance: Add 8 oz TS-630 Pro-Tex /gal

Clean up: Clean with acetone or LG-605 Thinner. Refer to Application Instructions Sheet, Product Data Sheet, label directions or contact us for additional information.
