This unique product has been conceived and formulated as a stand-alone artist’s paint specifically formulated for use in constant submersion duty in swimming pools, ponds, fountains and water features. Widely used to create murals, logos and underwater graphics in a wide variety of stunning colors. Used by the Walt Disney World maintenance department on water features including the submerged robotic figures in the Finding Nemo attraction.

Mural-Mate has been fortified with epoxy-ester producing unequaled adhesion, hardness, superior UV resistance and outstanding color and gloss retention. It is a self leveling formula that is also self priming on all Lifeguard paints.  Hardness, scuff resistance and chemical resistance are comparable to two-component epoxy, however, our no-mix formula is a whole lot easier to use. It is less likely to chalk, fade or yellow like old fashioned two-component epoxy making it a fast favorite. The easy to use formula is single stage requiring no mixing so it stores readily for multiple re-use.

Mural-Mate produces a nontoxic finish that holds up to pool chemicals, UV, is easy to use, acceptable for use on fiberglass, Gunnite, Marcite, plastic, aluminum, tile, masonry or concrete pools and water features. Resists saltwater, chalking, chipping and peeling, alkali (from concrete or plaster), growth of algae and molds, minimizes collection of iron and dirt and is easy to clean. It is economical to use because it spreads two times further than acrylic and lasts far longer. May be brushed, rolled or sprayed and it cleans up easily. Allows cold weather applications down to 40F.

Stats: Covers 100 square feet per quart when brushed or rolled and 125 square feet when sprayed. Dry to the touch in 2-4 hours. Pot life: Not applicable. Very high in solid content so it will require dilution in most applications. Custom colors available on request for an additional $10.00 per container. For added slip resistance in traffic areas add 1 lb Tred-Tex or Gaco-Grip. Available only in quart containers, satin and gloss finishes.

Primer: Primer is recommend on all bare surfaces. Recommend TS-664 Etching Primer on hard to coat surfaces such as Gunnite, plastic, aluminum, fiberglass and composite materials. 

Thin & clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner, TS-101 Thinner. Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS-101 Thinner or Acetone.

Accelerate/Harden: TS-160 Accelerator/Hardener improves resistance to pool chemicals, increases hardness and speeds the dry and cure times. Its use is required in all applications where there is motorized or heavy foot traffic.
