This unique product has been conceived and
formulated as a stand-alone artist’s mural paint
specifically formulated for use in constant
submersion duty in swimming pools, ponds, fountains
and water features. Widely used to create murals,
logos and underwater graphics in a wide variety of
stunning colors. Used by the Walt Disney World
maintenance department on water features including
the submerged robotic figures in the Finding Nemo
attraction.
Mural-Mate is fortified with epoxy-ester producing unequaled adhesion,
hardness, superior UV resistance and outstanding color and gloss
retention. Brush-ability, ease of use ,color fastness UV resistance and
long term durability are all remarkable. It self levels and is self
priming on all Lifeguard paints. Requires no A&B catalyst mixing so it
stores readily for multiple re-uses. It produces a nontoxic finish that
holds up to pool chemicals and saltwater without chalking, chipping or
peeling. It is economical to use because it spreads two times further
than acrylic and lasts far longer. May be brushed, rolled or sprayed and
it cleans up easily.
Covers 400 square
feet per gallon when brushed or rolled on smooth surfaces. Dry to the
touch in 2-4 hours. Recoat time is 12-48 hours. Sand between coats after
48 hours. See label and application directions for further information.
Custom colors available on request for an additional $10.00 per gallon.
Available in satin and gloss finishes.
Recommendations:
Recommend two coats for best results, dilute 5-10% (TS-101
Thinner) in most applications.
Cleaner: Recommend TS-695
Etching Cleaner over previously painted surfaces.
Primer: Recommend TS-664
Etching Primer or TS-780 Mono Epoxy Primer on bare surfaces.
Accelerator/Hardener:
Recommend TS-160 Accelerator/Hardener to speed dry and cure time,
increase hardness and chemical resistance.
Slip Resistance: For added
slip resistance add TS-620 Pro-Tex according to label directions or add
1 lb Gaco-Grip to each gallon.
