TS-730  Mono Epoxy

 www.lifeguardpaint.com

Our innovative approach to epoxy rewrites the book on epoxy itself. Like the name says it’s a mono-epoxy swimming pool paint that eliminates the need for mixing multiple components together making it easier to apply than traditional two-component catalyst cured epoxies. The self leveling easy to use low odor formula is non-toxic when dry, rock-hard and long lasting! It is easier to use, longer lasting and less likely to peel, chalk and yellow than old fashioned epoxy making it a favorite of DIY and professional pool refinishers.

You can expect more than 10 years of maintenance free service from Mono-Epoxy Swimming Pool Paint. Our innovative use of new generation epoxy-ester resins provides super adhesion, hardness, scuff resistance and the resistance to pool chemicals you expect when you typically think of two-component epoxy. Superior VU inhibitors provide better color and gloss retention.

Mono-Epoxy is a work saver because it eliminates the difficulty of mixing multiple components together and the hassle of limited pot life associated with it. It is easier to work with and less hazardous to you and to the environment than catalyst cured epoxy pool paints. Film build is excellent and it's leveling properties are outstanding. It is easily brushed, rolled or sprayed and it cleans up easily. Just pound the lid on the unused portion and it stores for years. Acceptable for use on concrete, plaster, Gunnite, tile, metal and fiberglass surfaces.

Very high in solid content so it will require dilution in most applications. Low temperature curing (as low as 40 F.) Custom colors available on request for an additional $10.00 per gallon. Available in one gallon and five gallon containers satin and gloss finishes.

Recommended preparation: See application instruction sheet for details.

Primer: Primer is recommend on all bare surfaces. Recommend TS-664 Etching Primer on hard to coat surfaces such as Gunnite, plastic, concrete, aluminum, fiberglass and composite materials.

Thin & clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner, TS-101 Thinner. Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS-101 Thinner or Acetone.

NOTE: Our performance warranty is not a guaranty of color fastness. Please understand that pool chemicals and UV rays combine to reduce the effectiveness of even the highest quality resins, colorants and anti-fading ingredients. Dark colors fade sooner than lighter colors. When dark colors are desired, we recommend ordering a shade or two darker with the understanding that colors will lighten with time.
