LG-730 Mono Epoxy Mono Epoxy rewrites the book on epoxy itself. Like the name says it’s a single-component epoxy pool and pond sealer that eliminates the need for mixing multiple components together making it easier to apply than traditional two-component catalyst cured epoxies. The self leveling low odor formula is non-toxic when dry, rock-hard and lasts longer! It is less likely to peel, chalk and yellow than old fashioned epoxy making it a favorite of both professional pool refinishers and do-it-yourselfers. You can expect more than 10 years of maintenance free service from Mono-Epoxy. Our innovative use of new generation epoxy-ester resins provides super adhesion, hardness, scuff resistance and the resistance to pool chemicals and saltwater you expect when you think of hard to use catalyst cured epoxies. Superior VU inhibitors provide better color and gloss retention. It’s a work saver because it eliminates the difficulty of mixing multiple components together and the hassle of limited pot life associated with catalyst curing. Outstanding long term durability, ease of use, leveling properties have made it our best selling product. It can be brushed, rolled or sprayed and it cleans up easily. Just pound the lid on the unused portion and it stores for years. Acceptable for use on fiberglass, aluminum, tile, masonry, gunnite, marcite, plaster or concrete so it can be used in most applications. Offers superior resistance to pool chemicals and saltwater. Hardness and scuff resistance are excellent. It prevents seepage of water in pools and ponds, resists chalking, chipping and peeling, alkali (from concrete or plaster), swimming pool chemicals, growth of algae and molds, minimizes collection of iron and dirt and is easy to clean. May be brushed, rolled or sprayed, cleans up easily. Covers 275-300 square feet per gallon when applied to smooth surfaces. Dry to the touch in 1-2 hours. Cleaner: Recommend TS-695 Etching Cleaner or TS-104 Seal-It! where there is risk of water seepage, high moisture content or hydrostatic pressure. Primer: Recommend TS-664 Etching Primer or TS-780 Mono Epoxy Primer. Slip Resistance: For added slip resistance add 1 lb Tred-Tex or Gaco-Grip. Please understand that pool chemicals and UV rays combine to reduce the effectiveness of even the highest quality resins, colorants and anti-fading ingredients. Dark colors fade sooner than lighter colors. When dark colors are desired, we recommend ordering a shade or two darker with the understanding that colors will lighten with time.
