Surfs up, it's time for Life Guard
Chlorinated-Alkyd! A beautiful swimming pool paint
that is easy to use and highly durable. A tough U.S.
Government formula featuring chlorinated resins that
withstand pool chemicals and provide superior color
retention making it less likely to chalk, fade or
peel. Formulated for use on Gunnite, concrete,
fiberglass, aluminum and steel swimming pools, fish
ponds, decorative pools, fountains and water
cisterns and tanks. The cured finish is non toxic
when dry so it safe for children and fish.
You can expect 7 or more years of maintenance free
service from Chlorinated Alkyd. Fade resistant
pigments provide maximum color fastness. It features
a combination of innovative performance qualities
including excellent hardness, resistance to many
acids, alkalis and water. It is a highly durable
pool finish that is environmentally friendly, non
toxic when it’s dry and easy to use in a wide
variety of fresh and saltwater applications. It
prevents seepage of water in pools and ponds.
Resists chalking, chipping and peeling, alkali (from
concrete or plaster), swimming pool chemicals,
growth of algae and molds, minimizes collection of
iron and dirt and is easy to clean.
Stats:
Covers 300 square feet on a per gallon basis.
Available is 100 stock and custom mixed swimming
pool colors. Dry to the touch in one hour, tack free
in 8 hours, recoat in 24 hours. For added slip
resistance in traffic areas add 1 lb Tred-Tex or
Gaco-Grip. Available in 100 colors. Custom colors
are available on request. Available in 1 gallon and
5 gallon containers.

Primer:
Primer is recommend on all bare surfaces. Recommend
TS-664 Etching Primer on hard to coat surfaces such
as Gunnite, plastic, aluminum, fiberglass and
composite materials.
Thin & clean up:
Use only with factory recommended thinner, TS-605
Thinner. Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS-605
Thinner or Acetone.
NOTE: Our performance warranty is not a guaranty of
color fastness. Please understand that pool
chemicals and UV rays combine to reduce the
effectiveness of even the highest quality resins,
colorants and anti-fading ingredients. Dark colors
fade sooner than lighter colors. When dark colors
are desired, we recommend ordering a shade or two
darker with the understanding that colors will
lighten with time.
