Silicone Epoxy is a new generation pool and pond
paint that offers an unusual combination of
performance properties in a high solid nontoxic
formula. Flexibility, color retention, UV resistance
and long-term submergibility are all remarkable
making it an excellent choice for fish ponds,
swimming pools, water slides and water features. The
cured finish is exceptionally smooth which is
perfect for water slides. The easy to use, no-mix
formula is acceptable for use on virtually all
swimming pool, pond and water feature surfaces. You
can expect seven or more years of maintenance free
service when you choose Silicone-Epoxy.
Provides superior adhesion, higher flexibility
(conforms to ASTM-6221 and ASTM 6222) and UV
resistance than competing
pool and pond paints.
Offers good resistance to pool chemicals and
saltwater. Acceptable for use on concrete, Gunnite,
Marcite, plaster, fiberglass, aluminum, tile, steel
and masonry. Prevents seepage of water, resists
chalking, chipping and peeling, alkali (from
concrete or plaster), growth of algae and molds and
minimizes collection of iron and dirt. May be
brushed, rolled or sprayed, cleans up easily. Brush:
recommend natural bristle brushes. Roller: For
smooth surfaces use 3/8” non shedding roller cover;
higher nap cover for textured surfaces. Spray:
Recommend small-medium size tip. Covers 400 square
feet per gallon when brushed or rolled on smooth
surfaces. Dry to the touch in 2-4 hours. May be
recoated, wet sanded and buffed. See label and
application directions for further information.
Available in 100 colors, gloss and satin, special
order colors available on request for an additional
$10.00 per gallon. 7 Year Warranty.
Recommendations:
Best when applied by roller coat in two or more
coats to achieve a minimum DFT of 3.4 mils. Test
porous surfaces hydrostatic pressure utilizing
VaporGuage Kit
or the equivalent. See
application instructions
for further
details.
Cleaner:
Recommend
TS-695 Etching Cleaner or muriatic acid
for all surfaces.
Sealer:
Use TS-104 Seal-It! Deep Penetrating Sealer
where moisture is above 10% content or more than 4
LBS hydrostatic pressure.
Primer:
Fiberglass: TS-664 Etching Primer; Concrete,
Gunnite, Marcite & steel: TS-6390 Polyamide Epoxy
Primer or TS-787 Mono Epoxy Primer. Aluminum: Call
for assistance.
Accelerator/Hardener:
Recommend TS-160 Accelerator/Hardener to
speed dry and cure time, increase hardness and
chemical resistance.
Slip Resistance:
Add 16 oz TS-630 Pro-Tex /gal or 1 package
Tread-Tex /gal.
Clean up:
Clean with acetone or TS-101 Thinner. Refer
to Application Instructions Sheet, Product Data
Sheet, label directions or contact us for additional
information.
NOTE: Our performance warranty is not a guaranty of
color fastness. Please understand that pool
chemicals and UV rays combine to reduce the
effectiveness of even the highest quality resins,
colorants and anti-fading ingredients. Dark colors
fade sooner than lighter colors. When dark colors
are desired, we recommend ordering a shade or two
darker with the understanding that colors will
lighten with time.
