Etching Cleaner is easier to use than muriatic acid and safe in the drains and flowerbeds. A low odor formula that is a must-have for all pool refinishing projects. It cleans, removes lime, rust and contaminates from all surfaces. It is effective, fast acting and easy to use. It is acceptable for use on concrete, Gunnite, Marcite, tile, fiberglass, metal, aluminum and masonry. Oil, grease, dirt, and chemical stains disappear quickly and completely. Also attacks rust, corrosion and oxidation in grooves and crevices as well as on smooth surfaces.

An excellent pre-treatment cleaning solution intended to be used on surfaces prior to application of swimming pool paint by removing unwanted contaminants and neutralizing lime, concrete by-products and contaminates on the surface which may seriously impair the coatings’ ability to form a satisfactory bond. Tested and approved by aluminum manufacturers for use on aluminum surfaces. Removes easily and safely exhaust and chemical stains, oxides and corrosion from aluminum, zinc and cadmium plate as well as iron and steel. An advanced phosphoric acid based pretreatment solution. Available in quart, gallon and five gallon containers. 

Directions for use: Best when used full strength. Always apply to pre-wetted surfaces. Do not use in full hot direct sunlight above 80F. Pour or mop on surface, once applied allow to stand for 10 -15 minutes. Rinse carefully and allow to dry thoroughly before applying paint or primer. Some very clean surfaces may allow dilution with water on a 1:1 basis.
